November 4, 2009 - 17.6 pounds lost so far

Woohoo, lost 2 more lbs this week.  Well on my way to my goal.  Hopefully I can get there.  Boys turned 3 months old last week.  Awesome!  They are doing great!

November 4, 2009 - 15.4 pounds lost so far

Last week was a good week for me, did my typical no point counting dinner then stayed on the wagon.  It was tough on Halloween with all the food and desserts and candy but did really well.  I'm working towards my goal by Christmas.  I want to build up a buffer because I want to eat at the holidays.  Well gotta run.

For the first time I gained weight :(  Only gained .4 lbs but I have to lose weight each week to get my goal.  I have to lose about 3 lbs a week til this thing is over to get there.  Still hanging in there, no cheat night tonight since no weight loss.  Maybe next Monday!

October 19, 2009 - Lost 6 lbs last week

Last week was a good one (lost 6 lbs exactly), had a cheat meal on Monday and the rest of the week was good.  Wow, what a thing to have will power.  Headed in the right direction to get there by Christmas.  The holidays will be tough because I am not dieting on Christmas or Thanksgiving, so I better build up some safety pounds :)

Been a very busy week, diet going well, we did go to the OG on Monday since Jana wanted that before she went back to work.  It was yummy, I only ate 2 breadsticks (very impressive I know).  :)  Other than that ate very little Tuesday and Wednesday was a normal day.  Boys are doing great also!  More soon.  Oh yea, not much physical activity to report with the rain :(

Well after what was not a very good week diet wise turned out to be a loss week still.  Only losing .8 lbs but better than gaining.  It was a tough week with lots of company which makes dieting hard because no one wants to diet.  This week should be a lot better.  We found out yesterday that Jon and Kristi are going to have another little girl.  Josie DeAnna.

October 8 and 9, 2009

Both days went well.  The 8th was a recovery day since I had done so bad the previous 2 days, I had very little food.  Small lunch and dinner only.  The 9th was a good day, had breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Cleaned the garage last night took over 2 hours.  As far as the diet it is going well.  My buddy Scottie wanted to eat chinese for lunch but I asked to go to Subway so that was good (even though I would rather want chinese).  Jana and I played some PIG last night and it was fun.

Ok so Monday and Tuesday weren't the best dieting days I have ever had.  Monday was just plain awful with a big Monday Night Football game, we ordered Little Panda Chinese food.  Tuesday, my best friend Bobby came down and we had La Popular Burrito for lunch and some twizzlers at the movie (ZombieLand).  Pizza at the bowling alley last night.  Today will be better as well as the rest of the week.  Still got good will power and it's going well overall.

October 5, 2009 - First Weigh In

Well in 5 days I lost 5.8 lbs.  Just a shade under my goal of 6 lbs.  Diet is going great.  I have been doing a physical activity everyday.  Last night I was going to skip a workout but then decided to go for a quick jog.  Well just had to share, my goal now is to lose whatever weight I lose but to continue to do something physical everyday and to also eat well.  One week down, and 81 more days to go.

First order of business.  The twins turned 2 today... ok 2 months but still!  Woohoo!  Made it all the way thru the weekend and did really well.  We went and played Canasta with Jana's parents, sad to say the girls won.  They had a big lunch but I did really well and had a Weight Watcher meal instead.  Get to weigh-in in the morning so I'm excited about that. My goal is to lose 6 to 8 lbs since it is week 1 and it is my water weight.  Well tune in tomorrow for the first weigh in.

Well Saturday went really well started the day off at 10 =) since we needed to feed the boys. Casual lunch and Jana made a weight watcher dinner. Baked chimichangas. They were yummy. Then the family went for a walk.  Jana, Me, The Boys and Nick. Good day!

October 2nd -

Things are still going good with the diet.  Had a good day eating wise yesterday.  I was going to be doing a boot camp beginning on the 1st of November but had to cancel that.  Too much with the twins right now.  They get up every night at 2:00 to eat and Jana goes back to school in 11 days.  I have been doing good so far working out some way every night.  I just have to keep that up.  First weekend tomorrow so that will be interesting, weekend are usually the downfall.  Well not as bad as traveling out of town, but bad enough.  Finally got some will power back so I can finally do it!  My first weigh in will be on Monday which is 5 days since I began my diet, then I will continue to do weekly weigh-ins every Monday.  Well off to another day of work!

1 Day Down 85 more to go

So the whole workout thing was not so fun.  This is because I'm really out of shape.  However, I did not cheat as far as food goes, I had a sandwich for lunch and lasagna for dinner.  Lots of water in between.  I really have heard a lot of positive things from people via twitter and facebook.  Well that's it for now, just going to keep trucking away.

Day One - 232.6 lbs - It Begins

Day One

Well it is day one of my new weight loss. I am going to post things here to hopefully keep me motivated and accountable to everyone out there. I really need to get healthier for me and my family. My initial goal is to lose 32.6 lbs by Christmas. I know this is a stretch goal but I really feel like I can get there. I going to try and be active for at least 1 hour each day, whether it be playing basketball, riding my bike, or any other activity. It will be hard with having new twins at home because they take a lot of attention. By the way, I wouldn't have it any other way, I love them so much! Well, gotta get to work so I will write something else soon.
